- Front seatbelt pretensioners: Pyrotechnic retractors quickly remove slack from the safety belts in a crash exceeding a preset level of severity.
- Heated windshield wiper park: A heating element is embedded in the windshield at the position where the wipers rest on the glass when not in use.
